Why Wait for Payday?
With Early Pay Day from Marion Community Bank, you can get access to your eligible direct deposits—like your paycheck—up to two business days early. No enrollment. No fee. Just a little extra breathing room.
How Early Pay Day Works
When we receive your direct deposit details from your employer or payroll provider, your funds may be available up to two business days early. This happens automatically on eligible ACH deposits—no sign-up required.
- No enrollment needed: Included with eligible direct deposits
- No fee: Early access is free
- Automatic: Funds are released as soon as they’re received, when possible
What to Expect
If your employer sends the payroll file early, you may see the money up to two days sooner. If they send it later, your deposit will arrive on your regular payday. Early Pay Day isn’t guaranteed for every deposit—it depends on when we receive the payment information.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Early Pay Day?
Early Pay Day lets you get eligible ACH direct deposits up to two business days early. The exact timing depends on when we receive the payment file from your employer or their payroll provider. Early availability isn’t guaranteed for every deposit.
Do I Need to Enroll?
No. There’s no enrollment and no fee. Once your qualifying direct deposit is set up, Early Pay Day may apply automatically.
Why Didn't My Deposit Arrive Early This Time?
Early access depends on when we receive the payment information. If your employer or payroll provider sent it later than usual, your deposit will post on your regular payday.
Which Deposits Qualify?
Most employer payroll and government ACH direct deposits qualify. Deposits like wires, mobile checks, Zelle®, and bank transfers do not.
Will Weekends or Holidays Change Timing?
Early availability is based on when we receive the file—not calendar days—so weekends/holidays can affect timing. Marion Community Bank only processes and posts ACH files (including direct deposits) on business days that the bank is open and not on weekends and federal holidays.
Is There a Fee?
No. Early Pay Day is included with eligible direct deposits.
