We are currently seeking a qualified Teller for our Marion, Alabama branch.
JOB SUMMARY:
At Marion Community Bank, the branch customer’s initial and often primary point of contact is the teller. Qualified candidates must be outgoing and engaging and have the experience and skills necessary to provide an excellent customer experience.
SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES:
· Efficiently handle daily customer transactions with minimal errors.
· Handle other office responsibilities including account maintenance, customer correspondence inquiries, cash orders, and collection items.
· Contribute to a welcoming branch environment by greeting ever customer as they enter, by name if possible.
· Address customer complaints with professionalism and sound judgment.
· Maintain a balancing record that conforms to bank policy.
· Follow policies, procedures, regulations, confidentiality requirements, and operational controls.
· Maintain a growth mindset by developing a working knowledge of all bank products and services and offering them to customers as appropriate.
· Actively participate in all bank promotional events and product/service initiatives in order to support bank sales and service goals.
EDUCATION/SKILLS:
· High school graduate or GED equivalent.
· 1 year of experience as a bank teller or like field
· Proficient in the use of technology including Microsoft Word and Excel
